Our licensed customs broker has over ten years of experience in freight forwarding and customs brokerage. We will assist you with the classification of your goods and keep you informed of any changes in laws and regulations that may affect you. We hold district and national permits, which allow us to clear your goods in any US port at no additional cost. We also work closely with US Customs, FDA, USDA, FWS, and all other government agencies to provide you with the highest quality services possible.
Customs Bonds
All commercial shipments of goods valued over $2,500 must have an import bond in order to enter the United States.
The primary purpose of a customs bond is to ensure compliance with all laws and regulations governing the transaction, while also ensuring all import duties and taxes will be paid to the CBP.
Customs bonds can be of various types, but the most common types of customs bonds are single transaction bond and continuous bond.
The single transaction bond is used for a single customs transaction, while the continuous bond covers all customs transactions at any port of entry. It is valid for 12 months from the date when it’s put in place with CBP.
Our FastBond system allows us to issue a customs bond within 30 minutes.

Import Security Filing
The Import Security Filing (ISF), which is also commonly known as 10+2, is required to be submitted to U.S. Customs no later than 24 hours prior to the cargo being loaded on the vessel destined to the United States. The ISF filing requires importers or their agents and vessels to file data electronically with CBP for in-bond ocean vessel shipments. This allows CBP to identify high-risk shipments to prevent smuggling and provide enhanced cargo security and safety. CBP may issue liquidated damages of $5,000 per violation for the submission of an inaccurate, incomplete, or untimely filing.
It is the importers' responsibility to provide 10 data elements 24 hours before the cargo is loaded onto the vessel destined for the United States. These data elements include:
Seller
Buyer
Importer of record number
Consignee number
Manufacturer (or supplier)
Ship to Party
Country of orgin
Commodity Harmonized Tariff Schedule Number
Container stuffing location; and
Consolidator
The ISF filing only affects ocean vessel imports. It does not affect cargo imports entering the U.S. by other modes of transportation.
